Aaron and Tiffany charter a dive boat.  On the first dive, at Punta Gorda, we see stingrays, octopi, eels, anemone, and a MAN-SIZED goliath grouper.  On the second dive, at Punta Argentina, we see a school of large parrotfish, a seahorse, and a whitetip reef shark.  While we're boating between the two dive spots, not only do we see an Olive Ridley sea turtle and a school of devil rays, but we see two humpback whales!  And we can hear their vocalizations from the boat.  No lie!  We follow them and jump into the water to try to snorkel near them (getting a great listen underwater), but they are moving too fast.  You can't imagine how frustrating it was that we didn't have our camera with us.  It was probably the best dive experience we've ever had, and we have memories and stories, but no photographic evidence whatsoever.  Anyway, that afternoon we head back over to Playa Hermosa for a sunset barbecue on the beach.
